Turchaninova Galina Turchaninova
Galina graduated from the Leningrad Conservatory named after N.
Rimsky-Korsakov in 1956. Her professor, Sergeev Boris was a teacher of
Leonid Auer's "school". She started teaching from the 1955
first in Leningrad (now Saint-Peterburg), then in Novosibirsk, and from
the 1981 she works in Central Special Music School attached to the
Moscow State Conservatory named after P.Tchaikovsky in Moscow. The
pupils of Galina Turchaninova are working now all over the world as
soloits, violinists of symphonic orchestras, teachers in schools and
conservatories. There are many laureats and diplomants of Russian and
International Competitions. The most talented student of Galina
Turchaninova is very famous, genius fiddler, "the best musician of
a world" Maxim Vengerov. Galina
Turchaninova has a lot of a methodical works. She has master-classes and
seminars in more than 30 cities of Russia, in Germany, England, Ireland,
Jugoslavia, Israel, South Korea, Portugal, Pribaltic countries, Taiwan. In
1995 Turchaninova was awarded to a title of Honoured Art Worker of
Russian Federation.
